No Request

Website designed and partly programmed by me.

This was a site for a radio DJ that wanted a personalized Wordpress blog theme. In this designed I tried to capture the club and techno feeling that the client wanted.

Sómi

Website programmed by me but design was mostly in the hands of an ad agency.

I am not happy with this design. I like the look of it to a certain extent but when considering SEO for this site then it falls flat on its face. This is designed by a typical "paper" based designer, relying heavily on images and leaving no meat on the bones for the search engine.

Gallerí Lundi

This sign and flyer was designed by me.

Usually I don't do things for print, well unless you ask nicely! So this is for a gallery that sells handcrafted things, so my idea was to make the sign look like a wrapped parcel suggesting there was something handcrafted inside.

Here you can take a better look.

Tennis

Here I did the designing and some of the programming.

This is a site about, yeah you guessed it, tennis! The aim was to appeal to kids, therefore I went with a lot of colors and pig bald imagery.

Baseball

This site is a sister site of the tennis one, so here I went with the same look just different graphics, again aiming at the young ones.

Höndinn

Last but not least...

My own site! Backstory, my brother has a kids entertaining company, LazyTown and there he is his own superhero, Sportacus, and there was no way that I could let my brother be the only hero in the family! So the Web Hero was born.

I am ashamed to say that my site isn't ready, but you can take a

Languages

Icelandic - Speak, write and read with confidence.

English - Speak, write and read without problem.

Norwegian - I lived for two years in Norway a long time ago so I speak the language but of course a bit rusty. As for writing then I wouldn't trust myself to write text in Norwegian, not without someone checking it for me, but I read the language without problems.

Danish - I lived and studied in Denmark so I speak the language but prefer not to as it hurts a lot to have a potato in my throat all day long, what a terrible language. Writing in Danish is also something I am not comfortable with but reading is no problem.

Interests

Design, be it web, furniture, product or what ever. I just like design.

Web related technology, learning new things and seeing what other people come up with is always fun.

Traveling, who doesn't?

Tennis, yeah I may not have the shape for it but I love playing tennis.

Family, I am married to a wonderful wife, Asta, and I have a 10 year old son, Oskar, which I like to think is a tennis prodigy.
